Wheeee! I'm finally home! The feeling is... indescribable! Ahhh my nice and comfy bed.. Having my parents and crazy sisters around.. And being able to log in to the internet without the annoying pop-up box telling me how much data out of 6gb I have left. And not having to take public transport everywhere i go :p Ahh the list is endless....
But but but the weather's really baddd! It's so hot and humid! Gosh how am I gonna survive one whole month of this. For the first time in 5 months i took a cold shower!
My recent posts have been too long and wordy, so I shan't bore you all and I'm gonna enjoy being home! =)

Ah la la la la......
Yay another exciting day!
Check out Wei Xiong's blog for the other day's camwhore photos! Lol he's such a funny guy. Really interesting blog. Ignore the photo of me and Tim though, hahahaha. The wonders of photoshop eh :p
So today I was supposed to meet the rest at 12pm, but it turned out that I couldn't wake up. Good thing Shiyou called, goodness knows when I would have slept until! Haha BOTH of us overslept. Had lunch at Richmond, and headed to a kitchenware shop after lunch. It was so weird cos it was ironically us guys who were all excited about the stuff in the shop. Lol. So we headed to Victoria Gardens and walked around, waiting for Grace, who went into a coma and was uncontactable. Lol not exactly a coma, but nearly :p Check out what I bought, hahaha.
We walked over to Ikea after Grace came, and spent a good couple of hours there! I loove walking around Ikea. Can never get bored of that place! I'll always find something interesting to buy everytime I go there. Still remember the first week when we got here and daddy had the car, we must have been to Ikea 4 days out of the whole week! And oh saw this dustbin that looked just like the Mac dustbin (the one on the dock :p)! I was comtemplating for so loong, cos my apartment's not that big and I don't need so many dustbins! Well if I DID buy that dustbin it'll be so precious that I won't wanna dirty it, so I won't throw anything in there. Lol kinda cool eh, a wastepaper basket as a decorative object! So in the end all I bought was a cutlery set so that people won't have to keep bringing their own when they come over. Plus a rack for the cutlery and a small pan. They didn't have the strawberry-scented tealights, and the rosemary plant =( Boo. Well I'm sure there's a next time! So anyway the whole point of going to Ikea was to get her highness Shiyou's bookshelf, which is why she asked along 3 of us guys! Well actually Tim and Kern were enough :p Birch, beech or black brown! Hahaa and her highness took quite some time to choose her colour. And goodness that Billy bookcase was so darn heavy! And to think we took TRAMMED all the way back home! Not a direct tram mind you, we had to take 3 trams cos the Swanston St one stopped at Queensberry St! The box itself was just over 2m long, and weighed at least 40kg! Looked as if we were carrying around a coffin on our shoulders, lol. Never mind, it's worth the effort, I'm sure our kindness will pay back. When I get back to Melbourne, I've got faith that a coffee machine will somehow magically appear and Shiyou can make us nice latte everyday =p Cos she is going to attend the Lavazza barista course too, specially for us :p
Dinner was at Colin's house. Quite a large spread, impressive how he managed to cook for so many people!
I went to Safeway earlier in the week to buy quite a fair bit of groceries, thinking that I would have quite a lot of home-cooked meals before flying home. Turns out I was wrong. My carton of milk isn't even opened yet, and I've got a whole lot of chicken wings, and vegetables. And lots more that I haven't included in here. Lol. Feel so wasteful. I'll see how that goes, cos we're going over to Grace's house tomorrow to have another cook-out session! Yipeee! I'm looking forward to Kern's Ti-rum-misu! But before that, I'm heading to the market in the morning at 8am!! Yes 8am! To buy stuff for mummy. Man my body clock is majorly screwed up already, hahaha. The last time I had to leave the house at 8am was so long ago! I mean the time that I'm getting up is the time that I turned in on Thursday morning! Alright time to go sleep now, don't wanna oversleep again tmr! Goodnight all =)

Happy days!
Yay! Exams are over and I'll be back home in no time! Can't wait!
My first semester in uni zoomed by just like that. Like really fast. 5 more times and I'll graduate. Ahh can it slow down pleeasee. Maybe that's because the past 2 days have been really awesome :p
Feels really good not having to worry about work or reading law case summaries. Well for the time being at least. For a good one month before I'm thrown back into another semester of school.
Wednesday night was great! We had social night during lifegroup for a change, so it was combined with another cell. There was plenty of yummy food! But the highlight of the night was Singstar! Haha yes it was the first time I tried it out, and now I so want a PS3! Lol. My singing wasn't all that great but still it was great fun singing together. Gerald's skills were quite amazing! Any song he could get the pitch and everything right. Even this Whitney Houston song which was unfamiliar to me, I had to pass the mic over to him cos it was simply too high for me! And he sang it almost perfectly la!
Here's a picture of us, hahaha.

Went over to meet the ULU5 people after that for drinks and to hang out for a while. We sorta camwhored like crazy after that, on the grass lawn in front of the state library. Wei Xiong's camera was superb! Nice and focused photos with very little noise, even at night. Ahhh i want a DSLR too, hehe :p This picture's quite cool eh. Must have been quite painful for Wei Xiong after that!

Headed over to Tim's house for a while to help him check out his interview attire, before walking back to my apartment where we watched "Definitely Maybe". Lol quite a nice chick-flick. We were supposed to watch another movie, but we ended up having Ikea meatballs with potatoes and lingonberry jam (thank you Kern!!), and chit-chatted to 7am. Lol yes 7am!!
Thursday was awesome too! Lol I woke up at 2 plus and had to do major cleaning up cos my place was in a mess. Then went to Laguna to buy stuff to cook for dinner at Tim's place. Lol we must have walked inside for almost an hour cos we couldn't decide what to cook for dinner! And all the random stuff in between, like Tim promoting his Taiwanese cup noodles :p Finally somehow we managed to decide on Bak Chor Mee. So it was over to Safeway to get the remaining stuff before going over to Tim's to cook. Oh man it was my first time having Bak Chor Mee it in almost 6 months i think, and it was seriously da bomb! Made all from scratch! Arghh too bad no photos again =( Yes it was thanks to me and Tim of course :p Headed to Videoezy to rent some movies for our movie marathon at Roy's house. Hahaha. We ended up watching Coyote Ugly, which brought back good old sec 2 memories =), Bring It On 2 (gosh such a bimbotic kiddy show!) and Phantom of the Opera (old old old old show). Oooh and Roy's apartment was so nice too! He had a 42" TV with 5.1 sound system. If only I had that and a PS3 =p *drools* So by the time we finished it was about 5am. Lol. Think I'm turning nocturnal already. Aiyoh the walk back was so colddd! It must have been 7 or 8 degrees, plus the strong winds!
So here I am blogging now about my past 2 days. Haha. Surprisingly though I'm not feeling too sleepy even though it's 6.20am now. Should probably get to sleep soon. If only I had a little bit more time in Melbourne before heading back, hahaha =p Still haven't done any shopping since the exams ended. Oh well the past 2 days have been such a blast! With awesome company =)

A song of love...
What a beautiful song =) "How Sweet The Name" by Delirious?
What would I have become
If you'd never stopped to pull me through
What would this life had done
If you'd never whispered liberty
I heard you sing so sweetly a song of love
Jesus how sweet the name
The name that saves
Jesus how sweet the sound
The sound of grace
The sound of praise
The sound that saves
So many songs I've sung
But there's none more beautiful than you
And here I've found myself
So I'm happy to be lost in you
I hear you sing so sweetly, a song called love
Every soul needs a saviour
If you'd never stopped to pull me through
What would this life had done
If you'd never whispered liberty
I heard you sing so sweetly a song of love
Jesus how sweet the name
The name that saves
Jesus how sweet the sound
The sound of grace
The sound of praise
The sound that saves
So many songs I've sung
But there's none more beautiful than you
And here I've found myself

Shades of gray turn to colour
Yum yum. Lunch I cooked was uber delicious! Beef ravioli with bacon, mushrooms and avocado in cream sauce =p Too bad I don't have a camera cos those words don't do the pasta justice! Haha. Feeling so bloated now. Ahh! I want a camera!
And I can't believe I was cutting carrots at midnight the other day. I was hungry and somehow I ended up cutting carrots to munch on! So healthy, lol. Normally it would be Indomie, hashbrowns or an omelette.
OH OH and i found out new things my mac could do! Haha Jon was teaching me the other day how to talk to my mac. Yes you heard me, TALK to my mac. It's not one way, cos my mac TALKS BACK too! I can even say "show me what to say", and a whole list of stuff pops up! How cool is that! You know it can even tell jokes! Check this out:

me: Tell me a joke
mac: Knock knock
me: Who's there?
mac: Wayne
me: Wayne who
mac: Wayne dwops keep falling on my head
Rofl! Interesting right? There are many many more! And if I take too long to respond, my mac will say "OK, enough jokes back to work". My mac has a sense of humour!
Ha and I discovered Front Row too! It's basically this iPod-like interface that I can use to browse through all my stuff, with the apple remote. How stinkin' awesome!

Everyone should get a mac! Hahaha =)

Love and Labels!
Grr. My apartment ventilation is bad. Now my jacket smells like a weird dish. Like everything all mixed together. A little bit of fried hash browns, some of Diane's yummy oxtail soup, beef steak and goodness knows what else.
So I went to the market this morning, and I spent the most I've ever spent in a single visit! Had lunch after that with Debs, Shiyou and Jon. We were late though. This person who was supposed to go to the market with me early in the morning was still SLEEPING when it was time to meet for lunch. Lol. So I was the only one who ordered a main instead of entree, and yet only I managed to finish all my food. Hahaha.
Still on the topic of food, since I've got so much time this week, I've decided to spend it spoiling myself and trying new recipes =) Yum yum. Sis' trusty "Cook with Jamie" cookbook shall keep me company. Oh I've got Mr Basil too! He's not going back. Haha. Poor thing. He's gonna miss me terribly when I go back home for a month.
Watched Sex and the City last night after yummy dinner at Diane's. Lol. What a nice show! I loved the humour. Though I only watched a few episodes from the DVD, I still enjoyed the movie! I sat beside some hopeless romantic who apparently cried, hahaa. Aww.. Wonder who yeah :p Damn, I didn't get to see though. :p The movie has got a great soundtrack too! It's rated R21 in Singapore, so good thing I caught it here :p

What a weekend!
Boo. The weekend's gone just like that! Haha not as though I'm gonna have a busy week ahead though, I've got no papers the whole week! I started my papers the earliest, but I'm one of the last to finish =S Oh well it's good in a way, gives me more time to memorise the whole list of cases for the much dreaded business law exam. Grr! Sis got to go home yesterday. Miss you two crazy lunatics! I've gotta wait till the end of the month :( Can't wait!!
Yay my retail therapy on Saturday was totally useful! Happy with my new 'investments' :) And I was contributing to the economy too! Haha! My studying productivity seems to have improved too! Hopefully it will last :p At least until business law is over!
I spent 6 hours today studying at Lygon Court. Half of it stoning though, lol. And while me and YQ were studying, Huei Weun brought us dinner! It was super yummy! Nice home cooked food, and there was even a freshly baked brownie too! She was driving all over delivering the food they prepared at June's house. Thank you so much! To all the people who cooked and baked the delicious food for the whole cell to bless us, and also to those who went to the extent of driving all over the city to deliver the food right to us! It was really appreciated. Felt so blessed.
Today's sermon by Ps David Doery was great! He preached from John 1:35-51, about personal evangelism and bringing people to Christ. The interesting thing is that I did the EXACT same verses for QT last night! How awesome is that! I believe it wasn't just a coincidence. Shall spend more time meditating on those verses tonight.
Alright I shall end here. All the best to those with papers this week! And to all the psychos who have pysch tmr (erm today actually), you better be asleep! Take care!

Yay new blog!
Hello! Welome to my new blog! And my first blog post ever! I think I chose i nice address, haha =) Well most of the ones I wanted weren't available, so I settled for this. Wow I've finally got a blog eh. Just like how I got a facebook account after so long.
Hmm I shall update once in a while with random stuff =)
Studying is badd. It drives people mad. Hahaha check it out man, it rhymes too. Lol I'm gonna post one of the hundreds of photos taken while we were mugging together. Macs are so fun! I chose this photo for obvious reasons. I look the most normal, hahaha. See how the rest have gone crazy :p I still haven't lost my sanity yet.
3 papers down and 1 more to go! Thank God for getting me through the week. And for the wonderful friends He's blessed me with to go through the crap together. You know I love you, XOXO! :p For now I'm taking a short break from studying. Yay going to DFO tomorrow! Or later today rather. Retail therapy! It'll boost my studying efficiency by a gazillion times (hopefully!), totally worth the opportunity cost.
