Yesterday was a shopandspendalot and eatalot day. Not good!
Hahaa but it was really fun though.
Lunch at Carl's Junior, dinner at Din Tai Fung and ice-cream at Tom's Palette :) Lol almost felt like dying when I went with some family friends to Ice Cream Chefs and Blk 85 for supper, so I just watched them eat.
The B&J Chunk Fest was quite erm.. not as nice as expected. It was drizzling and the grounds were muddy. And the ice-cream queue was terribly long. We must have spent less than 15 mins there. Ice-cream craving was settled after dinner at Tom's Palette. Highly recommended by Jeth. Yum yum!
I'm starting my internship in 2 days, and I don't really know how I feel about it. It'll be a cool experience working in an audit firm, and it beats slacking 3 months off at home doing nothing productive. But i foresee a lot of OT and boring audit work. Then again, that's what I'm gonna do after I graduate right, haha. Intern pay isn't fantastic too. Well shall see how it goes. Hope I can make it for summer urbs despite all that OT :S
Meanwhile I'm keeping myself occupied by watching shows and reading Wild at Heart.
Take care everyone and have an awesome fun-filled holiday!

Is it real or...
I'm back with more food photos! Hehee.
Been deprived of nice hawker food! Yep so seemingly normal stuff like sugarcane is exciting too!
Anyway last night after Youthnet meeting at church, a bunch of us went to Bedok Blk 85 for supper :)
Bak chor mee and fried oyster! Yummy.
Daryl took the last shot. I thought it was nice.

Time to rant. GRR WINDOWS! Some screw up meant that my whole desk top hard disk had to be reformatted. So I lost quite a lot of stuff, like my SHOWS! Good thing my photos were backed up somewhere safe. But still everything's in a mess and the all the drivers need to be reinstalled. See if it were a Mac (it wouldn't have died, but anyway EVEN if it did), there would be Time Machine, so everything would be safe on the backup drive. And no need to go through the hassle of installing drivers and stuff. The simplicity of a Mac :) I've lost interest in gaming anyway, so absolutely no reason to get a PC anymore.
The only downside I can think of is the "Apple tax" - PCs of similar specs tend to cost less. But who cares, I would gladly pay more for something that works well and is free of viruses/spyware.
Ok rant over.

This life is a beautiful one
Take time to realize
Hehe today was spent shopping at boutiques. Erm window shopping actually. Let me try to remember: Gucci, Burberry, Botega Venetta, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, Louis Vuitton, Fendi and Agnes B. Gosh so tempting :S And I need a new wallet! Beyond my means though, lol. Sneaky Jeth trying to get me to buy! And KY being more subtle, but still, lol. And Ben I know you miss us, but shush don't say your 21st is coming!
But anyway I liked the LV damier graphite wallet and the Burberry check wallet. Too materialistic, sigh.

And not forgetting the Taylor guitar that I'm drooling over too!

Capture it, remember it
Heh I finally got my proper haircut! I don't like getting haircuts in Melbourne. (Lol Alvin not referring to you, don't be offended okay! :)) It's never as nice as what I get here at our regular place :) I got to meet up with Jeth and KY too, after so long! I missed hanging out with them. HAHA. LOOK what you're missing out on BEN!!

Dim sum at Victor's kitchen! Yumyumtumtum!

Is there more
Hello! It's been 2 long fun-as-heck weeks since I last posted. This blog desperately needs an update, so here it is.
I'm finally back home, in the comfort of my own bed. It feels good to be back! :)
I almost didn't make it on to the flight though, quite a stressful experience at the check-in counter just now. Well some system screw up I guess. Anw on the bright side, they gave me a seat next to the emergency exit, so I had lots of room to stretch my long legs. Was feeling really zonked cos of the accumulated lack of sleep. Didn't watch any movies though there were several good ones this month. Just listened to my iPod and slept through most of the flight.
Lol I've been sleeping around 5-ish, only to find half an hour later that the sun has risen.
The past 2 weeks have been really awesome, and I'm gonna miss Melbourne! Too lazy to post everything here, heh. I might post some photos.

Oh happy day
Ah yes! 3 papers over, just left with one more essay to do over the weekend. So anyone with lots of knowledge of the post-Kyoto protocol agreement, come come and share them with me.
I'm glad that my papers are finally over. Especially BPA, it's such a b.s. subject! My ordeal with BPA is finally OVER! (I hope so at least) My brain can rest from all that cramming. I'd rather do essays than cram!
Had lunch today after BPA with mummy and sis at De Grave's. As I type this they've probably just touched down Singapore. Well my turn is in 2 weeks :) I've gotta pack up my stuff and vacate the room, grr so troublesome!
Hmm Scott likes to use the word 'flippin' so I was bored and decided to look it up on my trusty apple dictionary:
flipping |ˈflipi ng | |flɪpɪŋ| |ˈflɪpɪŋ|
adjective [ attrib. ] informal chiefly Brit.
used for emphasis or to express mild annoyance : are you out of your flipping mind?
Totally random.
Today's post title is such cos I found a nice song :) And it was sung by Mr Jason Mraz! :) I remember singing this song a long long time ago back in choir, heh. It's a song from Sister Act.
Anyway while studying at Frank Tate today, we spotted 2 martians:
Boo...
Macs make great studying buddies! (hmm or distractions?)
I'm getting quite lazy to blog, which explains the lack of updates. Well my post today is rather long cos once I'm done with this, I've got to resume reading my journal articles and researching for my essay ):
Must start coming up with a list of things to do next week! :)

I believe, I believe
Lol incidentally the title comes from our "H1s song". I think I sorta corrupted the song, hehe cos some people said they can never look at it the same way again whenever we sing it.
My first paper is about to start in slightly more than an hour's time. Last minute studying doesn't really work for me, cos I subconsciously get panicky and the stuff I'm reading won't get absorbed into my brain.
I don't feel well prepared, but I'm not worried. Cos I'm believing and leaving it all to God! :)
Just like how me and Shiyou unexpectedly got H1 for our ATA assignment, a high H2B for GP even though I thought my essay was bad. He will take care of it all :)
Through You I can do all things!
Thank you to everyone who wished me. And all the best too to all those going through exams now!

I will live for You all my days
What a gloomy day, with the miserable weather. Hmm I kinda like having some of these days too, not nice and sunny days all the time. Random thought.
Anyway. Hello hello Grace I know you visit 5 times a day and expect an update every time. Hahaha! So I shall update about you this time :)
Happy 18th Birthday! Hope yesterday was a blast for you! Like you say, stay for 18+x forever :)
You're super awesome! Cos you use a Mac too :D
On a random note. Yesterday was exactly 1 year after ORD. No longer a conscript to the Gahmen. There's freedom in the Name of Jesus yo! Hahaha! The past one year passed so quickly.
Oh and Grace is munching on a biscuit from the combat ration pack. Lol.
One more week to go before the 3 papers are over and I nerd through the weekend on my take-home Global Politics paper. I can see the light!
I'm really looking forward to DNA Encounter tmr :)
